CND, alongside other peace groups in the XR Peace collective, will be supporting Extinction Rebellion’s The Big One action in London taking place April 21st-24th. We will be standing up for the planet and against nuclear weapons.
The plan:
Friday, April 21
-From 7am, join CND to leaflet outside the Ministry of Defence where we will be explaining to workers there why we are campaigning for a world without nuclear weapons.
-Between 10am-6pm, join us in the green area off Whitehall and Richmond Terrace for a programme of workshops, people’s assemblies and creative action

Saturday, April 22
-XR Peace will join a march for biodiversity in central London.
Sunday, April 23
-The Big One coexists with the London Marathon as it cuts across Parliament Square, providing an exciting opportunity to engage with the huge crowds of spectators.
Monday, April 24
-CND returns to the Ministry of Defence and Parliament for more workshops and creative action.
