Come along to Coventry Cathedral’s annual Hiroshima Day service.
With participation by Reverend Su McClellan; the Deputy Lieutenant Mr David Moorcroft; Ayumu Kikuchi from the Japanese Embassy. There will be an exchange of messages of greeting between Coventry and Hiroshima; a letter of greeting from the Mayor of Hiroshima will be read by our Lord Mayor, Councillor Roger Bailey; and the main reflection will be given by Sophie Bolt, CND General Secretary.
Earlier in the day, all are welcome to join free Taiko drumming workshops sessions held at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, with a performance at 5:40pm.
