Join Kingston Peace Council/CND for a candle-lit commemoration to remember the anniversary of the dropping of the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima in 1945.
The Mayor of Kingston, Cllr Thay Thayalan, and the Deputy Mayor, Cllr Jane Lim, have accepted an invitation to attend. We shall strew white flowers onto the Thames as a gesture in remembrance of the souls of the departed. All welcome.
