Hiroshima and Nagasaki remembered: Stockport

Each August the anniversary of the dropping of the first atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 is commemorated across the world. Join Stockport for Peace to mark the occasion with a street stall in Market Street, Marple. Posters, leaflets and peace cranes will be available to remind passers by of the awful effect of nuclear weapons but also the good news of the United Nations’ Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.
