Join Norwich and District CND to mark the 80th anniversary of the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
We will be meeting at the Breath sculpture for peace in the memorial gardens opposite City Hall to lay a wreath of white poppies and observe a two-minute silence, before processing with banners and placards to the Peace Pillar in Chapelfield Gardens. There we will have speeches from members of Norwich’s Japanese community and peace activists, stories and music.
Please join us! Bring friends and family, banners and placards, and a picnic for sharing.
