The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) is recruiting for a Membership and Fundraising Officer to join our friendly team. This is a pivotal role for the organisation, having responsibility for the continuous development of CND’s membership and supporter development strategy and for the planning and implementation of fundraising activities within CND.

You’ll have good knowledge of individual fundraising and/or membership, and will have demonstrable experience in the following; recruiting new donors and supporters through digital channels (preferably Facebook); leading and project managing fundraising appeals; using relational databases (preferably Raiser’s Edge); using an email marketing or mobilisation platform (e.g. Action Network or Mailchimp); and setting budgets and achieving income targets.

The job will involve hybrid working, with a minimum two days a week based in our office on Holloway Road, London, as well as occasional working out of the office and at weekends. We work a 35-hour week and the position is permanent following the successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.

The salary is £38,305 per annum. The successful candidate will be entitled to 28 days of holiday plus bank holidays and an additional three days of (non-contractual) holiday between Christmas and New Year when the office is closed, and a contributory pension scheme.
