To raise awareness for upcoming protests at RAF Lakenheath against the stationing of US nuclear weapons, CND is planning to run an engaging advertising campaign using advans. These are vehicles with huge digital screens, which will be displaying the artwork below! We think this is going to leave huge impression on the general public! 

It is critical that we grow the campaign against these US nukes. In the last few months, US President Donald Trump has illegally attacked Venezuela, threatened to invade Greenland, and launched an illegal war against Iran – threatening to destabilise the entire Middle East. With the horrific conflict in Ukraine still ongoing, Trump’s actions are only dragging us further towards global war. Deadly US nuclear weapons stationed in Britain make us all a target by putting us on the nuclear front line.

We plan to tour the advans in major cities nearby to RAF Lakenheath, including Cambridge and Norwich. We will also prioritise key routes used by students at local universities to help bring younger activists into the campaign. The more funds we raise, then the more locations that we can target. 

Polling shows that 60% of British people are opposed to US nukes being stationed on UK soil. It is urgent that we mobilise these people in support of our critical campaign. Please, help us to Kick Out Trump’s Nukes!
