Join London CND for a screening of ‘The Dawn of Kaiju Eiga’, a documentary on the relationship between Godzilla and the atomic bomb.
On the eve of the 77th anniversary of Hiroshima day, London CND is hosting an event screening ‘The Dawn of Kaiju Eiga’, a fascinating documentary on the relationship between the Godzilla saga and the atomic bomb.
The film will be introduced by the V&A’s archival and Japan experts with a display of posters and cultural artefacts relating to Hiroshima and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND). The documentary will then be screened, followed by a Q&A with the director.
This event is free and open to all, and will take place in the V&A’s Hochhauser Auditorium.
