CND will protest against the far right and the accompanying rise in militarism as part of the Together Alliance on March 28th.
It is clear that successive governments’ decisions to spend on weapons and war and not essential public services has led to the inequality we see in society today. In turn this has led to many looking for alternative political options, while the government’s focus on militarism as a solution to economic problems feeds far right politics.
CND will be marching alongside our Palestine coalition partners in a feeder march linking up with the Together demo. Meet us at Exhibition Road (Hyde Park end), SW7, at 12 noon. Click below for feeder march route. As part of the main march, we will make our way onto Piccadilly towards Green Park Tube Station before turning onto Regent St. and then onto Pall Mall. The march will continue along Pall Mall towards Trafalgar Square, and then turn onto Whitehall where it will finish.
