Join South Lakeland and Lancaster District CND’s annual commemoration to mark Hiroshima Day.
Meet at Waterhead to walk approx 600 yards to the Hiroshima cherry tree in Borrans Park for readings, poems, and a period of silence, followed by the scattering of memorial flowers and petals. We will then enjoy a peace picnic together.
