CND is supporting this national demonstration in Central London, calling for Homes not Nukes! Investment in homes for all should come before spending on nuclear weapons and the military.
The lack of government investment in affordable housing is causing difficulties and hardships for many, leading to insecurity and economic instability. And yet the government seems to always have billions of pounds available for nuclear weapons and war. CND has previously estimated that the cost of replacing Britain’s nuclear weapons system could instead be used to build up to three million new homes.
Come along to this protest calling on the government to reassess their priorities in favour of the public good.
