CND and British Pugwash host an evening of discussion with Annie Jacobsen, author of the international bestseller ‘Nuclear War – a Scenario’. A chilling, minute-by-minute account of what follows a nuclear attack, the book exposes the horrifying realities of such a war.

With the rising threat of nuclear weapons being used once again, Annie’s book lays out a powerful argument for why we must abolish these world-ending weapons for ever.

‘A Nuclear War – A scenario’ has been shortlisted for the Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction. Annie Jacobsen is also author of the Pulitzer Prize finalist ‘The Pentagon’s Brain’. Her other books include ‘Area 51’, ‘Operation Paperclip’ and ‘Surprise, Kill, Vanish’.

Annie’s talk will be followed by a Q&A session, where all participants will be invited to ask questions.
