Sands Films is organising a series of peace events to mark the opening of the London Defence & Security Equipment International Arms Fair 2019.
ALBERTO PORTUGHEIS and WISSAM BOUSTANY of Musicians for Peace and Disarmament will give a short music performance before a screening of ‘War School’. There will be an introduction and Q&A with filmmaker MIC DIXON. Set against the backdrop of Remembrance, the controversial documentary reveals how, faced with unprecedented opposition to its wars, the British government is using a series of new and targeted strategies to promote support for the military.
