In September 2025 the TUC at their annual conference voted to reaffirm its stance that the trade union movement’s primary focus should be on welfare and wages, rather than on weapons and warfare. Come to this event to find out why. During the meeting, Hugh will share insights and respond to questions about the Alternative Defence Review, a report published by CND and the RMT. The discussion will also address the potential impact for the southwest of increasing spending on welfare and wages.
