As part of a national day of protest, Yorkshire is marking the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons at Menwith Hill and Fylingdales.

As Fylingdales is even more difficult to get to, a few of us will be organising cars to travel up there in the morning and make our way back to Menwith Hill in the afternoon. Many more will be protesting outside Menwith Hill from 4pm.

If you’d like to know more about transport to Fylingdales, please e-mail us on info@yorkshirecnd.org.uk. Due to the ongoing health crisis the protest outside Menwith Hill will be socially distanced, with a couple of different options for walks around the base. We are not able to provide toilet facilities but we will be providing and encouraging participants to bring tea to commemorate the tee-total elimination of nuclear weapons on a Sunday afternoon!

Hope to see many of you there.
