CND Conference 2024 -

We look forward to welcoming you to CND’s 2024 Conference, where CND members — like you! — decide the direction and leadership of CND for the year ahead.

This year we will be holding our AGM and Policy Conference online on Saturday 5 October.

Before the AGM, we conduct an online ballot to elect CND’s leadership, in the form of the officers and directly elected Council members. Nominations for these posts have now closed. At the AGM itself we review what CND has done centrally in the past year and review the budget for the coming year.

At the Policy Conference, we debate and decide on the pressing matters facing the campaign and how we should respond to developments in Britain and the world, which in turn sets the agenda for the work of the CND staff in the year ahead.

On Saturday 12 October CND is holding a major public conference event in Central London:

Join us for a day of analysis, debate, and planning for action at SOAS, University of London

The conference will be followed by a reception marking Kate Hudson’s retirement as General Secretary.

Attendance at both the AGM and Policy Conference and the Public Conference are free of charge.

Pre-conference schedule

Tuesday 27 August: Deadline for accepting Nominations for Officer and directly elected National Council positions.
Sunday 8 September: Deadline for amendments to ordinary resolutions, deadline for special resolutions (constitutional amendments).
Friday 27 September: Deadline for registering for AGM and policy conference.
Monday 30 September: Deadline for submitting emergency resolutions.
