Each August the anniversary of the dropping of the first atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 is commemorated across the world. Join Bury North CND to mark the occasion in Heaton Park for a peace picnic.
The event will include Clarion Choir and Bard of Bury as well as tributes to Bruce Kent and reflections on the bombings. Meet at the Hidden Gem Café and bring something to sit on and food to share.
