Don’t let the lessons of 6th and 9th August 1945 be forgotten. Please donate to CND today.
In early August, 78 years ago, atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing over a hundred thousand civilians instantly, and condemning hundreds of thousands more to a slow death from burns, radiation poisoning and other injuries.
On this most terrible of anniversaries, please help us keep campaigning for nuclear disarmament by making a donation, so the world never has to suffer such tragedy again.
We have big plans for the autumn – including launching a major new report on the true cost of replacing and upgrading the UK’s nuclear weapons system, Trident. But our plans won’t be possible without your help.
We need to raise £10,000 for our campaigning later this year. Please, help us ensure the lessons of Hiroshima and Nagasaki are never forgotten by making a donation today. Thank you.
