In early August, 78 years ago, atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing over a hundred thousand civilians instantly, and condemning hundreds of thousands more to a slow death from burns, radiation poisoning and other injuries.

On this most terrible of anniversaries, please help us keep campaigning for nuclear disarmament by making a donation, so the world never has to suffer such tragedy again.

We have big plans for the autumn – including launching a major new report on the true cost of replacing and upgrading the UK’s nuclear weapons system, Trident. But our plans won’t be possible without your help.
