Come along to this seminar to discuss 100percentrenewableuk‘s model for achieving 100% renewable energy in the UK by 2050 and the issues surrounding it. CND supports the development of renewables as the alternative to the production of nuclear energy – a technology that is dirty, dangerous and economically unsustainable.

This seminar is free to attend in person. If you would like to attend online, there is a £30 charge – sign-up here.

Confirmed speakers so far include: Caroline Lucas MP; Jonathon Porritt (Forum for the Future); Charmian Larke (Atlantic Energy); Professor Christian Breyer (LUT University); Professor Mark Barrett (UCL); Professor Nick Eyre (University of Oxford); Dr Doug Parr (Greenpeace); Alethea Warrington (Possible); Rianna Gargiulo (Friends of the Earth and Divest UK); Alison Downes (Stop Sizewell C); Pete Wilkinson (Together Against Sizewell C); Ian Fairlie and David Toke (both 100percentrenewableuk); Kate Hudson (CND) and Dave Andrews (Claverton Group).

The seminar will be held at the Fenner Brockway rooms in Conway Hall. Coffees and teas from 9:30am.
