The good work that has been carried out globally has meant that the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons has been ratified by the required 50 states and will come into force in January.
Hosted by Parliamentary CND, join representatives from countries that have ratified this historic treaty, to discuss the importance of the TPNW for world peace.
Guest speakers include Ambassador Barbara Alvarez from Cuba, Ambassador Alexander Kmentt from Austria, Ghana’s Acting High Commissioner Matilda Osei-Agyeman and Kate Hudson, General Secretary of CND.
Co-chaired by Baroness Jenny Jones, Green Party and Kirsten Oswald MP, Scottish National Party.
