23 September Day of Action: Brandon, Suffolk action
US nuclear weapons coming to Britain make us all a target in any nuclear war.
To protest this development, Norwich and District CND will be organising an information stall between 11am-3pm in the marketplace at Brandon, the Suffolk town situated just four miles from ‘RAF’ Lakenheath. We will have leaflets and information sheets to give to local people about the US nuclear weapons which will be based so close to their homes. While we are there a small group will go to the main gate to attempt a Citizens Weapons Inspection. Please join us at Brandon to spread the word!
There’s a free car park and it’s not far from Brandon station, with trains from Norwich, Cambridge and Peterborough. There are pubs and cafes nearby.
