Free film screening and follow-up panel discussion event for members of the Public and Commercial Services union.

The energy and climate crises are heralding a push for a ‘new nuclear’ renaissance. PCS is opposed to nuclear power and weapons as a dangerous distraction to the renewables and just energy transition urgently needed. The union is pleased to be able to offer PCS members the opportunity to watch this ground-breaking film which provides an objective history of the nuclear ‘love affair’ story. This will be followed on 31st October at 6.30pm with a panel discussion with the film’s Director Vicki Lesley, PCS Assistant General Secretary John Moloney, and Kate Hudson, General Secretary of CND which will provide an opportunity to put questions and build our collective anti-nuclear campaigning.

The film will be free to view online for PCS members over the weekend of 28 to 31 October. This will require a log-in to an account which will enable anyone registered to view the film at a time convenient for them within that time period. To receive a link, members must register via the PCS Eventbrite link so that we can verify membership.
