Earlier this year, one of CND’s oustanding longtime activists, Eileen Daffern, died at the age of 98. During her long and eventful life, Eileen inspired many, myself included, not only with her dedication to the cause of peace and her vision of a better society but also with her dynamism, generosity of spirit and grace.
For those of you who knew Eileen well – and those who would like to learn a little about her – the online publication of a series of interviews with her is a very welcome step.
