As states gather to discuss the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty at the United Nations in New York, politicians and civil society will assemble to discuss progress towards a world without nuclear weapons. One of the side events delegates can attend is a showing of ‘The Mistake’, a play by Michael Mears featuring the compelling stories of the brilliant Hungarian scientist who helps create the atom bomb, the daring American pilot who delivers it, and the devoted Japanese daughter who suffers the devastating consequences fatally intertwine across countries, continents, and decades.

This special showing of the play will be followed by a discussion with British politician and Member of Parliament Jeremy Corbyn, and Joseph Gerson, President of the Campaign for Peace, Disarmament and Common Security.

(The play is running from April 24th-May 11th)
