2. The shifting relationship between the USA and North Korea, from mid-2017 to mid-2019
Each webpage includes:
- A wide range of resources you could use to teach your students about the topic in a stimulating and relevant way
- The resources’ links to KS3 and GCSE Citizenship curriculum content
- Guidance on which age groups and abilities they are most suitable for
- Specific suggestions on how the resources can be used in the classroom
The resources are intended to be stimuli in a wide range of Citizenship lessons, to complement and extend the lessons from the main Truman On Trial teaching pack. The additional materials could be used as part of a wide range of activities, including:
- Plenary discussions
- Group work and presentations
- A ‘spectrum’ (or ‘barometer’)
- A formal debate
- Written homework tasks
